MonsterLabo officially announces the availability of its surprendent passive cooling pc case: "The First" case. It will be available in two variants. The first one, the B.1, will be available in 100 (black only) units starting from December 15th. The second one, the B.2, will be in black and also white color, and commercialized in 300 units at the beginning of 2019.
MonsterLabo declared that it can passively cool an high-end configuration with a Core i7-8700K (95W TDP) and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (180 W TDP). This new chassis includes a Noctua 140 mm fan (NT-A14), and measures 205 x 215 x 420 mm (L x W x H).
It can fit only Mini-ITX motherboard and a graphics card up to 270 mm in length (there's a compatibility list in the MonsterLabo website). It supports ATX, SFX and SFX-L PSUs. The MonsterLabo "The First" will have a price tag of € 429.
