Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is not just a strategy RPG, but much more. With its fully hand-drawn environments and characters, in fact, it rapresents one of the finest tribute to Final Fantasy Tactics, a game that has enthralled a generation of players and is probably the best example of its genre.
In every aspect of the game, it is possible to see the admiration and respect that developers of 6 Eyes Studio feel towards the famous forerunner created by Square.
As in its famous predecessor, in the game players, driving a handful of characters, have to go across the world facing story missions.
If the experience of the main story is not enouth, you can decide to beat other paths and face the many secondary quests.
In the game you will impersonate a member of the Arbiters, an acient order that dedicate its life keeping the peace and the balance of power throughout the lands.
During your adventures many allies with personalities and goals of their own will join you.
There are a lot of different classes (over 20) and multiple builds for each; everyone has different characteristic and fighting abilities. during the character creation you will choose from an avalanche of customization options (skin tone, face, hair, eye color, outfit, and hat, each with many color variations) that will give a unique appearance to your character. All of these possible option will make happy all the gamers thet has loved Final Fantasy Tactics.
Also the difficulty settings are a lot in this game, instead of the possible classical chooses, from easy to difficult, there is a complex system in which players can adapt the game to their wishes ( for example if you want many aggressive enemies and no penalties for party members getting knocked out, you can do it).
There are not tons of different enemies, but their number is enough to guarantee a good variety of fights; so it won't bore us for sure.
As you could understand by reading this first report on Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark, we really liked the game and can even be considered a worthy spiritual heir of Final Fantasy Tactics. With its colors, its settings and its fighting style it reminds to Square's masterpiece, and it is one of those games that everyone must at least try once. So congratulations to the guys of 6 Eyes Studio for their wonderful work.
