Into the box, toghether of course the mobo, we find the always the useful user’s manual, two SATA 3 6Gb/s cables, 1 ROG USB 2.0 splitter cable, 1 panel cable, 1 thermal pad for M2, miscellaneus like as one WiFi moving antennas, one cables ties set, one m2 ruber package, two screw set for m2 storage devices, one m2 bracket, some ROG Strix stickers and one ROG Strix thank you card for purchase.
When we open the box of the ASUS ROG STRIX B760 I GAMING WIFI, we find the always the user’s manual, two SATA 3 6Gb/s cables, two WiFi antennas, three screws for m2 sockets and three standooffs for m2 sockets.
DESIGN
Dimensionaly, the new ASRock b760 board has an micro-ATX form factor and it sizes 9,6 for 9,6 inches or 24.4x24.4 cm.
All components of board such as connectors, capacitor and heatsinks leans on square black PCB.
The colling solution seems very good. They haven’t skimped with heatsiks. Are present various elements.
Above the capacitors and the mosfets, there are two heatsinks with thermal pad on top and on left. These almost merge in the angle to forms a half of a frame.
The second, the one on left the cpu socket, prolunge itself with a cover along the Io panel.
After, we have the heatsik for B760 chipset and two other that aims the heat dissipaation of the m2 sockets.
The whole surface of the motherboard has a silver and black color scheme and it is enreached with many things. On the lower part and near to the cpu socket, by a particular geometrical pattern. In addition, like whatever other motherboard is reported the name. As weel as, on the heatsinks with the same geometrical pattern saw just seconds ago on the pcb, additionaly lines and texts like as ASRock, Steel Legend and M2 armor. And lastly a little particular, the RGB Steel Legend logo.
POWER DESIGN
Moving to the technical aspect.
The power design, the VRM layout is composed by 12+1+1 digital power phases. that guarantee the maximum efficiency and power necessary.
CPU SOCKET AND SUPPORT
The core of the new B760 boards features the new Intel LGA 1700 Socket.
In addition to the B760 moterboard the last Intel socket is designed also for top range Z790
motherboards and for the new entrly level H770 mobos of which we’ll talked about in another video soon.
The Intel 1700 CPU socket supports the 13th Gen Intel Core cpu codenamed Raptor architecture processors, however, it’s backwards compatible with whatever previous 12th Gen Intel Core processors including Intel CORE, Pentium Gold and Celeron cpus.

MEMORY
The motherboard is equipped with two DDR5 dimm dual channel memory, the latest generation of memory technology for PC.
Compared with DDR4, the DDR5 architecture is designed to provide some improvements such as higher performance, high speed, as well as the an amplify capacity, and a better power efficiency. All this in spite of a higher price.
We can installing a minimum of 32 Gb for single dimm memory module up to a maximum capacity of 128 Gb for all two dimm.
Operating base frequencies for memory can range from 4800 MHz to the incredible frequecy of 7200 MHz in overclocking.
INTERNAL CONNECTIONS
Moving to the motherboard layout internal connections, starting from the left on top we’ve got a 8+8 PIN Atx 12v power connectors for our cpu, a cpu fan header and another cpu fan or water cooling pump fan header.
After, going down on the right, there are Post Status checker with which see eventualy CPU, memory, graphic card or boot errors. Two addressable Gen 2 Headers, a 24 PIN Atx main power socket connector, an USB 3,2 Gen 1 header, a front panel type c usb 3,2 gen 2 header
a chassis or water cooling pump fan header and four sata 3 6 Gb/s ports.
In the bottom, the Asrock b760 mobo has a system panel header, a chassis intrusion and speaker header, a Spi TPM header, two usb 2.0 header, two other chassis or waterpump fan connectors, an RGB LED header, and addresable LED header, a clear CMOS jumper, and a front panel audio header.
