Read-Only Memory, the leading voice in videogame history publishing, presents with a campaign on Kickstarter SEGA Arcade: Pop-Up History.
SEGA Arcade: Pop-Up History is a book of pop-up sculptures of SEGA’s greatest arcade cabinets: Hang-On, Space Harrier, Thunder Blade, After Burner, and Out Run.
These sculptures have been created by Helen Friel, and illustrated by renowned artist Kam Tang.
Each model will be accompanied by schematics, game artwork and historical context from by Guardian games writer and best-selling novelist, Keith Stuart.
SEGA Arcade: the Pop-Up History was created in collaboration with SEGA.
Backers of this campaign will receive a exclusive Kickstarter-only edition of SEGA Arcade: Pop-Up History, featuring an exclusive deep-embossed, silver foil case design, never to be reissued.
If the campaign is successful,later editions of the book will feature a lesser, printed, cover design.
